Freelift has its origins in one of the
oldest mechanical workshops in Europe, resulting from the
merger of two lift manufacturers: Jan Hamer and Brinkman of Amsterdam.
They were responsible for developing the first European stairlift in
1962.

Van Gogh: For the outside curve of a staircaseA stairlift for stairs with curves or corners. The Van Gogh is fitted to the outside of the staircase. The single tubular rail is available in cream, brown and grey.

Rembrandt: For the inside curve of a staircaseA curved stairlift, fitted to the inside of the staircase. This stairlift is ideal for stairs and stairwells, leaving a maximum amount of space on the stairs. The single tubular rail is available in cream, brown and grey.

Mondriaan: For straight stairsOur stairlift for straight stairs. The Mondriaan can be fitted on practically any straight staircase. The wear-resistant rail is cream coloured.

Vermeer: For tall buildingsA multi-storey stairlift. The Vermeer is usually fitted to the inside of the stairs, occasionally the outside. It is identical to the Rembrandt and Van Gogh in terms of technique, appearance and materials.
